Background: I grew up in the Washington DC area playing football, ice hockey, and lacrosse. I learned to play hockey at the Chevy Chase Club where I played against club teams from DC, Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. I played varsity hockey at Landon School and was a starting center my junior and senior year. My team went to the Maryland state semi-finals each year, and we were conference champions my sophomore and senior year.

I then went to the University of Colorado at Boulder where I continued to play hockey, but I focused mainly on becoming a ski bum: mountain biking, and enjoying the outdoorsy Colorado lifestyle! I now play in adult leagues around Denver and for GForce.

Best hockey experience: My senior year of high school we beat our biggest rival in the conference championship - an awesome feeling. I tallied two goals and an assist.

If I could eat anything it would be . . . Maryland crabs covered in Old Bay.
If I could be anywhere right now it would be . . . heli-skiing in Alaska.
When I step on the ice, I feel . . . energized.
If a gay hockey player sat in front of me, I would . . . buy him a drink!
