Books

An excellent analysis of gay men in sports is provided in Eric Anderson's book "In The Game: Gay Athletes and the Cult of Masculinity" published by SUNY Press. It includes interviews with gay athletes in professional, collegiate and high school sports and a chapter that details the best ways for an LGBT athlete to come out to their team.
